Synthetic Ion Exchange Resin Defouling chemical PROBLEM:Ion Exchange Resins, used in Softener, D. M. Plant, and M. B.Unit get contaminated and fouled with troublesome deposits of metalic oxides, silt, dead microbiological growth and other organic matters. These foulants contaminate and coat Resin particles and block Resin pores/exchange sites resulting in drastic reduction of Resin exchange Capacity, poor regeneration efficiency, and lot more water wastage in extended rinsing time. PRODUCT AND APPLICATION:The Product specially formulated, with new generation chemicals Hydroxy Ethylene Diphosphonate is non corrosive, effective and can be used on stream. Using "PARAS – 31" periodically (may be once in 4 to 6 months) will effectively remove the fouling from Resin. The Resin is back to its available operating capacity after Defouling treatment. DOSAGE:The quantity of "PARAS – 31" Required ranges from 10 to 12 % of Resin volume depending upon severity of fouling. Our Engineers will recommend you the exact quantity required. |
